| Carpet Universe is much more than your best source for floorcovering but Carpet Universe launched the industries 1st and only special services division. This division enables our customers to have access to our service facilities for many specialized services. Perhaps you need your carpet cut into several smaller rolls or perhaps you wish to have an 8' x 10', 6' x 9' area rug cut to your size and bound around the edges for an area rug that is made out of the same carpet you are installing in the rest of your home. Irregardless of your needs we are here to service you. If you do not see a service offered...ask...we are here to serve you. |
| ROLL CUTS |
Sometimes a large roll may be too hard to handle. The special services offers roll cuts or splits. This is
where we will take your carpet once it is ready and make 1,2 or 3 cuts for you. The charge is $25.00,
which covers our cost of an inside core, two layers plastic and the labor to cut and wrap. Each is then
tagged and shipped accordingly.
*Note: This is not for exact room size cuts, only for the ease of handling. Check with your installer prior.

carpet for your home or office and wish to have an area rug created out of the same carpet you will be
installing. Excellent for use as entry mats in foyers or as an area rug in the living room, den or hallway
runner! Cost is .50/lineal foot. (Example: 2' x 3' , 2 + 2 + 3 + 3 = 10 lineal feet X .50 = $5.00.

A must for any area rug. We will match your carpet up to one of the 1000 colors binding tapes we
stock. We will hand sew/bind any or all edges for $2.00/lineal foot. Perfect for stairs, hallways, etc.

| SERGING |
Serging is similar to binding except instead of using fabric tape we actually side tuft the edges. It is
called serging, often seen on elegant rugs, etc. Surging is $3.50/lf
